…
Im sitting here trying to figure out how to start writing this, that’s the hard part. Where to start the story, I could start from the beginning talk about my childhood, only child, suburban life, two incredible parents (Ray and Peggy), nothing spectacularly special, although my mother would say differently. I could tell you about the Hawk I used to fly for fun, Or I could start where I feel this chapter of my life begins the School bus that I have been living out of off and on for close to 2 years. All good stories but I think introductions are in order, Im Connor Goure, Pilot, Professional skydiver, bus driver, Retro rocker, Photographer and traveler, Rolling stone. Wanderer with wanderlust. Possibly a hermit held up in diner booths trying to figure out what I can put on the page to make happen. all the while getting lost whilst trying to find myself.
Im 26 but I don’t feel like it, I feel alive. however I may have been born in the wrong era, all the things I seem to gravitate to seem to be built multiple decades in the past. I love ilm photography, Ive never been much of a starter i’ve always been a hurry up and finisher. but there’s no deadline on this one this is for fun this is for those I care about and those that care about me.
Getting anything off the ground takes a lot of work time, and thought. For someone who spends most of their time with their head in the clouds you would think that I would know that, I always wind up getting hung up on the title I know I shopuld’t worry about it until after I have a story but its so much more fun to think of headlines than it is to write the story. I think that is how I have been living, thinking of the best title rather than what the meat of the story should be. Its fun to travel across the country see other nations and meet the locals but if you don’t document it then what’s the point its gone into the either. Theres no reason to live a life like this if you can’t share the stories what you have learned and the stories you’ve heard along the way. I have been using my camera to document and capture my travels so far, However if I keep keeping them to myself I will either forget them lose them or never share.
I don’t want these memories to fade so i’m binging you along for the ride this is the place to start for me get the ball rolling write the meat before I figure out what a catchy title is tell my story don’t worry about how to brand it. That will come with time. I need to be like a good doctor and have lots of patience. So sit down shut up keep all your hands outside of the vehicle and your head in the clouds because this life is one hell of a ride.
